Why do you teach? What is the impact you hope to make on students?

I wanted to do something that was meaningful and that makes me happy. Teaching does not feel like work, it feels like fun (most days). I love inspiring children and seeing the pride and excitement on their faces when they learn something new. I love beginning each day with a classroom of children eager and thrilled to learn, socialize, sing, climb, write, color, calculate, consider and dream.
