Jennifer recently returned from two years immersed in the Spanish language in Madrid where she was working in bilingual education, yoga and documentary film. While there, she earned a masters in Learning & Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.
An experience trekking solo through South America and walking the Camino de Santiago, a 500 mile pilgrimage across Spain, helped rekindle her love for languages and learning, which was originally sparked by her middle school French teacher and the foreign exchange students her family frequently hosted from French speaking countries.
With a unique combination of skills and experiences acquired in education, advertising and film, among other things, Jennifer offers an original perspective gleaned from years on the road living and working in different parts of the globe.
“You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.”

Teaching is a gateway to engaging young minds and introducing students to other worlds that extend beyond the classroom. As a Spanish teacher, it is my mission to help ensure students can fall in love with language learning the way I did when I was their age and to recognize the countless doors knowing a language can open.
Roycemore embodies the kind of supportive, innovative and collaborative environment I know I’d thrive in. The fact that they embrace and encourage independent thinking and individuality among their students and staff is something that resonates deeply.
