Deanna Beaugrand – Extended Day Program & Coordinator of Summer Camp

Deanna Beaugrand

I began my career working with children at an orphanage, I became a foster parent, and worked with teens at a private psychiatric hospital. I found Roycemore over 45 years ago when I was looking for quality education for my 2 daughters. While teaching kindergarten, I realized many of my students parents worked and needed longer day care. I lobbied to establish the Extended Day Program (EDP) which grew into a summer camp program.

I am especially passionate about social development, and like to create and environment that allows children to explore their own creativity and interests. I have enjoyed my two daughters and my son. My favorite hobby is painting and spending time with my dog Bella.
