One of the hallmarks of Lower School is “Theme Week.”. Each spring, the Lower School devotes an entire week to conduct an in-depth study on one topic through project based learning. The children are divided into multi-age groupings where they create, build and research one aspect of the topic. The week culminates in a Museum Share where everyone gets to see what others have learned and accomplished. Previous Theme Week topics have included Architecture, The Earth Beneath Our Feet, Climate Change, Makers and Shakers, It’s Hip to Be Square, Art Through Our Eyes, and many others.
