At Roycemore School we value each member of our community and the unique contribution each student makes to our collective excellence. We are among the most diverse independent schools in our region, and we believe racial, cultural and economic diversity enriches our school. Because Roycemore is committed to remaining accessible and affordable to families from a wide range of economic backgrounds, we use a sliding scale tuition model that applies a tuition range based on each family’s particular circumstances.
We use a sliding scale tuition model to personalize a tuition process that takes into account each family’s unique circumstances.
Decisions about admission and sliding scale tuition are two separate processes, so new students must apply for admission as well as sliding scale consideration. Returning families requesting consideration for sliding scale tuition are required to reapply annually as part of the re-enrollment process in January of each year.
All financial information provided is held in strict confidence.
To help us objectively calculate what a family is able to contribute to educational expenses, families are asked to complete an online application through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.
Applications for the 2021-2022 school year are now available. Click on the Apply Now button below for detailed information helping families through the application process. We encourage you to begin the application process early as spaces do fill up.
Tuition Assistance applications for the 2021-2022 school year are now open. If you are interested in being considered for tuition remission, please apply for admission to Roycemore prior to the priority deadline of February 1, 2021.
Our extraordinary financial commitment to the tuition assistance program seeks to sustain access to Roycemore for diverse and qualified students.
For the 2020-2021 school year, we are offering multiple enrollment options for families. Families that choose to enroll their student(s) in our off-campus instruction option will receive a reduction in fees. The chart below shows details related to this fee reduction offering.
*Please note that one course is defined as a year-long course. Two semester-long courses taken in different semesters would be viewed as one course for the purposes of tuition. Tuition does not include books, advising, college counseling or participation in other activities that are available to full-time Roycemore students.
Fees for full-time students cover annual expenses for course materials, database access, technology expenses, parent association fees, and books (in the Lower School only).
Full Time Roycemore Online Remote Learning students are also eligible to apply for support through the sliding scale tuition program.
