Come Together!!

Something special happened on campus yesterday. Something that we would have taken for granted just two and a half years ago. For the first time since early 2020, all Roycemore middle and upper school students gathered together in the Joseph Becker Gymnasium for a community meeting/ pep rally!

We came together on the first day of the fourth quarter of the year to connect as a community.

We honored our seniors!

We did a group “wave” as students stood up and then down from the south side of the gym to the north side. This was to send a message of love and support to our art teacher, Ms. Hecht, as she continues to recover at home from her injury.

We talked about how we would respect and support each other in the coming week as we transition to a mask optional environment for the first time in two years.

And two representatives from Student Government led everyone in our beloved Blue/Gold chant competition.

It was a moment to celebrate. The power of community. The power of coming together. The joy of something as normal as a pep rally! We have so much to cheer about, so much to celebrate. We’ve come a long way. Thank you for your support throughout! We are #GriffinStrong!!
